A native of Iowa City, born on the south side of Iowa City when Sycamore Mall was a field and a dream. My family moved to Terrace Road on the east side of town where I attended City High School. After graduating I attended Kirkwood and the University of Iowa. My interest in real estate was partially due to my father's, Robert L Wooduburn, love of architecture. I made my first "offer to purchase" at age 18. My husband and I purchased our first home in 1981, a 600sf 3 room house, for $28,000. One two-story 20'x40' addition later and we're off . . .
Fourteen purchases and nine sales later I decided to get my real estate sales license. I am now a licensed agent with the State of Iowa and a REALTOR® member of the National Association of REALTORS®. I am a member of the Iowa Association of REALTORS® and Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS®. As a member of ICCAR I have access to all local MLS listings. While most of my purchases have involved the services of licensed real estate professionals, as an investor, I have developed many research avenues to assist me in finding properties not listed on our local MLS. I see new market trends and ways of doing business continually changing. I am dedicated to evolving with the times and will continue to educate myself in new and improved methods for the benefit of my clients.
I pride myself on the knowledge I have acquired over almost four decades of real estate investing. I would love to represent you in your purchase, sale, or trade of real estate in the Iowa City, Washington, or surrounding areas.
I am dedicated to helping you achieve the results you desire by providing exceptional service and guidance in your real estate transaction. Whatever your goal, I will put my 35 years of real estate expertise to work for you!
In 2018 I completed the required course work and passed the state exam to be licensed in Iowa as a real estate broker and now hold a Brokers license.
